Amilee stretched and moaned softly, blinking her eyes against the weak light pouring in through the windows of her tiny little apartment.  She sat up slowly and stretched again, the bed was hard and the blankets thin, but it was better than being on the streets.  She shivered as she recounted the events that had led up to where she was today.

Amilee was born to a very conservative Christian family.  They lived in a rural community where everyone knew everyone.  Amilee grew up having it beat into her that she should want to marry a man and have lots of children.  But that was just never in her to desire.  She had several secret girlfriends growing up, and was caught a few times, as a teenager she was sent to an anti-gay boot camp where they attempted to "convert" her to being straight.  The problem with these camps was that when you put a bunch of horny teenage females who like girls all together in one dorm, they will inevitably start experimenting with each other, these experiences led her even more on the path to being a lesbian.

Amilee never tried very hard at school, most of it did not interest her unless it was music or art related.  She was the only female in the drumline of her high school's marching band and her partial scholarship to college was based on her musical talents.  However college proved to be more than Amilee bargained for, getting away from her small town and it's conservative values left her feeling like a recently uncaged wild animal.  And she soon found herself failing and dropping out of school.  Unable to return to her family she packed up everything she could into a suitcase and took a greyhound bus for as far as the 100 dollars left to her name would get her.

Amilee sighed softly as she stood up and got out of bed, bare feet hitting the dirty hardwood floor as she struggled to the kitchen to prepare a cup of coffee.  She glanced at the time on her phone, checking the messages and biting her lip softly.  She had an interview today, a very important one.  If she didn't somehow get this job dancing at the bar, she would be done for.  The person renting her the small apartment was already doing her a huge favor by waiting a few days for the rest of the deposit.

She shuffled slowly to her couch and sank into it for a few moments, trying to get her head on straight.  She had gotten weird looks ever since she came in on the bus a few days ago, this wasn't exactly the kind of city that people flocked to.  The woman renting her small apartment to her seemed ever so curious, yet she also didn't dare to ask.  Amilee shrugged as she sipped on her coffee, making faces because she hadn't had enough money for cream or sugar and the strong bitter taste was making her feel a bit ill.

Finally standing up she went to take a shower and get dressed, which was a chore in and of itself.  She didn't exactly have any very sexy clothes, her shorts were regulation length for a Christian college, but for an interview as a pole dancer, well that was another story entirely.  She stood there naked in front of the full length mirror on her closet door and then got out the scissors from her backpack.  And with a bit of a clumsy hand she began to cup the shorts so that when put on they clung to her and showed off far more skin than the young woman had eve dared to before.  She did the same number on her white t shirt, tying it up at the waist to show off her stomach and shortening the sleeves and tugging it close to her small body she admired the effect in the mirror as her altered outfit showed off her petite curves in a much nicer way.  She thought that the look was a bit trailer trash like, but maybe if she let her accent slip a bit deeper she could get away with it, at least she hoped so.

Slinging her purse over her shoulder she exited the apartment and walked out into the warm mid-spring air.  The scent of fresh cut grass lingered about as she walked briskly towards the bar.  Tiny beads of sweat were forming as she made the trip down roads, she cringed every so often, at any given moment she wanted to just crawl into a hole and hide, there was nothing very confident about her in these moments.  She could spy the bar coming up and hear all sorts of noise coming from within.  Little did she know that she'd soon be exposed to things she could never have imagined even existed.

With one last little shy nervous twitch she straightened up her posture, took a deep breath and walked into the bar, searching out the woman's name she'd found scrawled on a card hanging on the advert board of the grocery store.  She mouthed the name "Ellie" in her mind before stepping into the smoky atmosphere of the establishment and licking her lips she asked the bouncer at the door if this, "Ellie" was in.

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

########SCENE: (Skillet - Monster - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBeYy8ecjZY&nohtml5=False )
Ellie is laying open eyed on the bed - her arms crossed over her chest - shes so pale that to look at her you would think it was a dead body until she suddenly sits up and looks at the watch on her bedside table - she rolls her eyes and leaves the room - (CloseUp on back of fridge door) - ellie is looking in the fridge - you see the door shut and shes downing a bottle of blood - she wipes her mouth with her hand and smears some across her lips - (CloseUp on bottle thrown in bin and cut to ellie at the bathroom mirror tussling her hair and washing her face) - she takes her toothbrush and starts brushing her teeth as normal but then leans into the mirror and snaps her vamp teeth down and brushes them too - she puts on some black lipstick and takes a ring (CloseUp on daywalker ring) from the bathroom shelf and slides in on her finger before putting on her coat and follow with rp script

Elise pulled on her coat and stepped towards the window of her run down trailer. She used to hate staying in humanized places like this but unless she wanted the wrath of the freak hunters on her case it had been a necessary precaution and besides now she had become accustomed to living her secret life among the humans who seemed far too dumb to realize anything was different about her.

She pulled back the curtain with confidence as she always did since she had acquired her daywalkers ring, before the ring the tell tale pinpricks of life threatening sunlight were enough to keep her well away no matter how curious she might get.
Life threatening of course was just a turn of phrase for Elise ....she had no life as such to threaten she had lost that many many years ago yet her face had not aged a day.
Her eyes scanned the parking lot surrounding her bar. People were starting to trickle in now even at this time of day - the lonely and lifeless ones with no place else to go who would prop up her counter all day long and spend their cash. Elise smiled to herself and wondered which of them would actually make it home tonight. She grabbed her keys , yet another irritating part of living a human facade, and headed out to make an appearance at work, she had booked in an interview for a new dancer and though she hated these intimate proximity chats she knew she had to get it over with.

"Evening Ellie" said a rough voice from the shadows of the bars veranda, which would have made her jump if she hadn't had known he was there before she had left her trailer. Looking into the gloomy dark with perfect vision at the man she smiled and nodded greeting him in her rather less than upper class English accent "Evening Jim". He didn't take his eyes off his bike parked up gleaming in the sunlight and she smiled again, glanced down at her ring and continued to the bar.
The one thing about her ' Human ' life she did like was that her decidedly regal name had been shortened to 'Ellie' ....humans had a way of trying to shorten everything....some of them even their lives , she giggled to herself at the notion but she was glad of this , it made them easy targets for the most and for the least it meant she got rid of the name her father had bestowed on her so many years ago during his 'Beethoven' phase.

Elise shook the thoughts from her mind and set herself to concentrate on the thoughts of the people beginning to stream past her on the sidewalk. She had never been a heartless person in life or death and chose her targets carefully , listening to their thoughts and picking out the ones who seemed they had little to live for was , to her, a kindness although however much she tried she found it hard to feel for them pathetic or otherwise. It was simply a trait she had picked up from her maker, a brash but considerate woman whom she had only ever known as Nightshade. Ellie hadn't trained with her long before she had disappeared with some ' solitary ' guy, she had never been one for the ‘clan’ life and had left Elise to figure out things for herself.

As Elise rifled through the minds of each faceless by passer she grew more and more irritable, ...."must get home to the kids"...nope not that one..."got to grab mum some flowers on the way to the hospital".....no, they'd be missed...."I hope my wedding dress isn't going to be too revealing"....well , always was a sucker for romantics ...Damn!! why did everyone have to be so happy with their lot today?? She eyed a homeless guy in the park below and shuddered ...Hell no! she would starve before she went there, he was filthy and she hated feeding off men anyway ...all those bristles and whiskers did not make for a pleasant bite.
She shuddered again and went on with her mind searching. Elise stopped outside the bar and lent casually against the wall outside, lighting up a cigarette which she intended to smoke before the tedious interview began. She concentrated hard and filtered out the men’s voices first, after her annoyance so far she was not going to settle for second best tonight.

The women’s voices came through thick and fast to start with and Elise gradually filtered out the bad from the good one by one, blocking out the older voices in her head ,followed by those thinking of their kids and families and then pulling a face as she quickly blocked out a couple who were going over the appointments they had earlier that day with certain clinics of the personal kind.
Then suddenly a singular voice loud and clear came through, angry and at the same time tinged with sadness . The voice was soft feminine and most definitely American as Elise was used to now and it spoke three words which grabbed her attention immediately. "fuck this shit"
Elise grinned to herself, it was almost absurd to hear such crass words being said in such soft innocent tones and she couldn't help but wonder how pissed off an angel would have to be to resort to cussing.

Elise closed her eyes now to visualize the face that belonged to the churlish cherub. Very slowly in the blackness of her mind a face began to emerge, The red was the first colour through, swirls of flame coloured hair began to frame a pale girlish face . Beautiful emerald eyes almost as soft as her skin came into view next and Elise almost drew in a breath losing the image for a split second, but then it came back stronger than before with her will to see more, heart shaped lips swam into view, lips that with all her beauty should be smiling but were most definitely not.

Elise opened her eyes and swung immediately into the bar. She nodded a greeting to her bartender and took a seat at the counter, pulling over the stock clipboard she pretended to look it over all bosslike and proceeded with her mental eavesdropping. Normally she didn't have a problem reading between the lines of peoples thoughts but this girl was different - oh Elise was sure enough that this girl had reached her limit for one day and was about as pissed off as anyone could be ....but she just couldn't for the life - or death - of her work out why. The thing that confused her the most was ....why the fuck should she care - she never did before....so long as she was happy that they were UNhappy it had never mattered the reason why, she would just take them and feel satisfied that she had ended their misery.

Elise tried to scan the bar and fit the face in her mind to one of the faces before her but somehow none of them matched - then from behind the burly bouncer she had hired some months before stepped a petite female that looked like she had just stepped out of her own mind....

########SCENE: (In this moment - Whore - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GurkREc-q4I&nohtml5=False)
Amilee enters the bar and walks around nervously - some of the dancers stare at her and giggle to themselves and she tries to make herself look more confident - she moves around the bar to the music completely unaware of how sexy her movements are and that Ellie is watching her - (CloseUp Ellies eyes watching her move around the bar view fade's onto Amilees lips - she licks them nervously (SlowMo) and the rest of the room fades to black) - In her mind Ellie stands up and walks over to her taking her hand and spinning her round old fashioned dance style (as it was when she was alive) so her back is against her raising her arm up and trailing her fingers down it then over her chest and stomach before biting her neck - she flashes back to the room and the girl is laughing with someone then moving round the room again until she walks over to ellie....

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Amilee Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:02 pm

Amilee shivered a bit even in the warm humid air. She was totally out of her element here and she was well aware how out of place she looked with her red hair pulled back into a tight pony tail with just the tiniest wisps that stubbornly refused capture framing her face. She tugged at the edges of her shirt collar as she stepped forward into the room. The man had pointed out who Ellie was but Amilee was hesitant to just walk right over and introduce herself.

So she strode around the place, which in and of itself, was an incredibly awkward move for a girl who had never even been inside a bar. People stared at her, partly from the fact that she looked so innocent and out of place and partly because she was clearly new to the area, and in such a small town strangers must be a curiosity. She was sweating from nervousness now and her legs were starting to feel weak. The coffee she had downed earlier was settling in her stomach like a rock of anxiety. She cursed herself for not having had any money left and realizing the last thing she had consumed was some stale pizza the night before.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8ECto9wdRw

Finally after circling the room a few times she lowered her head, hair falling across her blushing cheeks as she made her way over to where she knew she was meant to. As she did she watched another girl dancing on a pole and she cringed wondering what level of desperation she had let herself fall into that this was going to be her fate.

"Hello...." The words came out of her mouth like a croaked sort of whisper, maybe she hadn't even been heard, so she said it again just a bit louder. "Hello, I'm Amilee...I was told to come here today for an.....an interview" She bit her lip and her cheeks flushed a bright red, she could hear the simpleness of her accent, tinged by a nervous stutter and it made her feel vulnerable and exposed, as if at any moment someone would notice she didn't belong here and make her leave.

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Ellie Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:04 pm

(Continuing scene from last music track/scene until Amilee walks over to her and speaks)

Elise Watched the girl closely from the corner of the room, there was a definite aura of discontent about her and she knew that this girl would normally be a perfect target but something was telling her she wanted ...no ....needed to know more about her. Elise pushed her mind out as far as she could and listened harder. Little scraps of memories were running through the girls mind and Elise watched piecing them together like a jigsaw.
Elise suddenly realized that some time had passed by and she hadn't moved herself an inch, yet another thing that could be her downfall in the human world. Had anyone noticed? she looked around ...thankfully not it seemed, they were all blissfully soaked in alcohol and too busy perving on the waitresses and falling over their own feet to notice Elise.

She turned her attention back to the girl awkwardly walking around the bar and glanced at the clock. There was no question who this girl was and why she was here, the interview had been clearly running through her mind since she got here and Elise knew she would be out the door the minute it was over.
The girl was pulling self consciously at her clothes and and Elise watched her nervous actions while she scanned through the thoughts in the girls head.
Elise frowned a little at what she saw in there and thought to herself "oh too good to dance huh? .....desperation? fate? " The girls at the bar loved their jobs and many of them had been offered much better 'socially acceptable' terms of employment elsewhere and turned them down....but why did she even care what this girl thought? What the hell was happening here?
Suddenly annoyed with the girl she smirked to herself .....oh she would work here and she would learn to love it ....this little prim and proper Christian girl was about to learn about the sins of the flesh in more ways than dancing for perverted men with more money than sense.

SCENE: ( Lizzy Borden - sins of the flesh - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAdBQmt3dTo&nohtml5=False ) cue whole dirty cutscene of elllies imagination LOL...

Elise had found since living with humans that she didn't have to use her glamoring half as much as she thought she was going to have to - she was pretty in a pale and dangerous kind of way and found that humans tend to respond quite well to pretty as dumb as they are, but if need be she would glamour this one - she had made her angry but she wasn't quite sure why - irritated her by confusing her mind - made her think about other things than draining her and Elise wasn't used to having thoughts that didn't involve that.

Elise stopped herself short ...enough now...this was ridiculous, she was starving and she needed to start working on who she would groom for the night to 'take home' later and here she was transfixed on some girl she shouldn't give a toss about.
.....but argh! Something was different about this girl - even though she seemed to have as much lust for life as a wet sponge there was life within her, somehow she shone with it and Elise had never seen this before.
She looked back at her stock sheet as she sensed the girl nervously walking over to her, almost laughing to herself at the fear soaked voice that spoke next....Elise was feeling the thirst now maybe it was the fear factor setting it off but she could hear the girls blood racing in her veins and the smell of panic was thick in the air as she introduced herself.

The girls velvet accent rolled and Elise almost closed her eyes as she raised her head to face her.
She was well aware that her deep red eyes were something that startled humans at first glance but they were never open minded enough to think anything other than "oh they must be a weird shade of brown" so she never worried about it.
Elise looked her up and down and involuntarily licked her lips which made her laugh at herself and the girl seem even more nervous than before - she held out a cold hand for the the girl to shake and surprised the girl with her common English accent when she said "Hey nice to meet you I'm Ellie, shall we go to my office and get started?"......

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Amilee Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:12 pm

The chill feeling of the woman's hand startled Amilee, it felt like some sort of electric shock had gone through her and she fought herself not to jump backwards as she shook it merely out of formality. Instead the unthinkable happened, this young woman brought up proper and to never even imagine entering an establishment such as this, much less entertaining the thought of working here, she found her innocent mind suddenly filling up with impure thoughts. And this dancing with such sinful ideas had her body responding in ways she had long since repressed with prayer and repetitive cleansing rituals.

She slowly followed after the woman to her office. Finding a seat on a sagging chair she crossed her legs all lady like and tried to find some morsel of dignity left inside of her. Her voice faltered as she explained her situation and how important it was that she find employment. Tears almost came to her eyes at the thought of having to give up and go crawling back to her family.. She bit her lip as she came to the part of her tale where she explained about the minimal dance training she had, mostly routines done for high school plays and a bit of classic ballet as a child. Then her cheeks blushed when she spoke of how she thought she could bring her own form of sexy....she stumbled a bit, she'd never have considered that word describing her before.

Her eyes were just on the brink of crying, she sniffled a bit and blinked back the tears that threatened to surface and out just how scared and vulnerable she felt. Normally she would have tried to crawl inside of her hoodie but now her top with the alterations she had made did nothing but force her cleavage out a bit and prove how far down her body the embarrassed blush had crept. Shame leaked out all along her petite form, she even held a look of contempt and disgust at the very room she was sitting in, as if she couldn't believe she was sinking this low in her life. Gone were the dreams of becoming a teacher, the hopes and wishes for that little cottage with a white picket fence.

At last it seemed the questions had come to an end, and she shivered a bit, choking back the sobs, refusing to let herself break down completely in front of this woman who was her potential future boss. She didn't know if she would laugh at her and tell her to leave, or what was even going to happen. She felt like she might be sick, but found herself unable to move, frozen in fear, stuck in limbo, trapped under the gaze of this woman who both terrified her, but made her curious to know more all in a confusing blur, each moment leaving her more lost than the one before it.

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Ellie Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:14 pm

Ellie had been sat for some time trying her hardest to listen to the girls story but the sound of the blood rushing in the veins of this terrified and embarrassed young woman was loud in her ears and the crimson color of her skin made it all the worse - Ellie could almost smell her blood it had risen that close to the surface of her flesh. To say she was distracted would have been an understatement - her mouth watered and all she could think of was ripping down the girls top and sinking her teeth into her breast - however, when the girl finished talking, she was pretty sure she had frowned and showed concern in the right places and was quite proud of herself for showing such self control.

Lost in her thoughts she suddenly realized she was staring at the uncomfortable looking wretch long after she had finished speaking. She smiled at her and tapped a pen on the desk like she was thinking about the job position....she wasn't of course - she was thinking about why on earth this perfect candidate for a meal was intriguing her so much....what was it about her that had caught her attention? whatever it was she knew that this little red head wasn't going to be dinner tonight .....
"You have no idea how lucky you are..." she said to the girl and smirked "we need someone to start right away and we have no other applicants so I guess the jobs yours..." She rose from her seat almost too quickly for her 'human' facade, the smell of blood making her teeth ache. Opening the office trailer door for the her new employee she smiled sweetly and gestured towards it - "get some sleep tonight now you start tomorrow and the hours are long.."

Ellie already had her plans for the night etched out in her mind - she had to know more about this girl and why she held such an air of interest for her. She had the address on the paper application in her hands and she wasn't opposed to snooping - maybe she would drop by later and check out the girls place to see what it told her - as the girl stood up Ellie made a quick effort to push out her mind and listen in on her thoughts - there was chaos in there! She couldn't tell one thought from another - there was fear, panic, shame, worry, a whole world of questions going through the girls mind ....'Jesus Christ' thought Ellie 'this girls not even sure how she feels herself!'
As Amilee got to the door Ellie placed her palm in the small of the girls back - a simple gesture to guide her down the trailer steps - suddenly one feeling alone came through the girls frazzled mind into hers and it made Ellie smile.....a curiosity ebbed from her, possibly even attraction and what was this? ...she was confused - she wanted so badly to leave yet she didn't want to ....Ellie almost laughed out loud at the irony 'Well fuck me' she thought 'this ones gonna be trouble...'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUCkbWAXx28&nohtml5=False

She watched the girl walk across the parking lot of the bar her hips swaying hypnotically as she left and licked her lips again smiling at the notion but her stomach felt empty and she had to find someone to eat pretty soon so she tore her eyes away and slipped back into the bar throwing one more glance at the girls behind before she entered the doors only to find the girl was glancing back at her...she laughed aloud and went inside....

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Amilee Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:15 pm

Amilee cringed a bit once she had finished speaking. Maybe she had said too much, maybe this woman could care less about the little details of her pathetic life. It was with a bit of shock that she heard the words that the job was hers. She swallowed hard, and mumbled a bit, trying to make sure that she had heard correctly. Then she stood up and bit her lip a bit. This was still not something she was looking forward to, it was a degrading move and one that she most certainly did not want her family or anyone back home to find out about. The very thought had her so confused that she almost fell down the steps of the trailer as she turned to wave and then walked the distance back to her rented apartment.

She shivered a bit, tiny prickles rising and falling on her skin, as if she sensed that something had changed even though seemingly very little had. She dug her fingers into the pocket of her shorts and fumbled her wallet open to count the last bits of change inside it. She realized she had enough for one last meal at the little diner in town before she was totally broke. It had a dooms day sort of feel to it as she walked along the cracked and broken sidewalks. She hadn't noticed until now how sleepy and forlorn this town was. The energy was that of an old woman who once had dreams of making it big, but just was never quite good enough. Some good memories may have remained tucked deeper inside the old wrinkled shell, but it was as if the very ground itself had sighed and given up long ago.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nY_8kbwo8KI

Her footsteps took her along the dusty streets and into the diner where a middle aged woman with the name "Agnes" printed on her name tag hollered for her to find a seat. She settled into the plastic booth seat and sighed softly as she glanced over the menu to figure out what her last bit of money would afford her. She finally decided on a small burger with bacon and cheese and fries, but she realized she couldn't afford the drink so asked for a cup of water. The waitressed seemed like she could care less and her food was brought out without much drama.

Amilee ate slowly, picked at her food, she wasn't really hungry anymore but had the sense to realize that not eating would mean she could possibly pass out before she even made it to her first day on the job. Halfway through her meal though she realized she just didn't feel like consuming another bite and had the other half boxed up, paid for her meal and started back to her apartment.

The land lady was out front smoking when Amilee reached the front door, and she waved and tried to make awkward small talk, but it was clear that the woman could care less about the life of her young tenant so she quickly went upstairs and locked herself into the room. It was stuffy inside so she turned on the fan and sank into the old couch. Scattered on the coffee table were a few important papers she had needed, phone numbers of references like her college advisor, a folder with the emblem of the school on the front of it. A few photos of her with various college friends were hung on the walls, if anyone looked close enough they'd notice she always had a bigger smile and seemed far more affectionate with the girls than the boys, but only if they were very observant.

Amilee sighed as she looked around her, this was such a pathetic little apartment compared to the large upper middle class home she had grown up in. Her things barely seemed like they belonged here, a pink coffee maker, a bright shiny brand new toaster, a coffee cup with a princess crown design on it, oven mitts with cat designs on them and even her clothes just seemed too delicate for such a grungy atmosphere, lace, pastels, the heart and flower patterns on her neatly folded cotton panties in the drawer.

She walked into the kitchen and put her leftover meal into the fridge which was almost empty except for a half empty half gallon of milk and the last 2 slices of a loaf of bread. She was always forgetting to eat, as if life had never been interesting enough for her to have much passion about the things that kept her alive.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZFjauf_hZg

Heading into her bedroom she pulled off her clothes slowly, and changed into a pink night gown, it was something her mother would've bought her before she left for college, little frilly sleeves, the slightest bit of elastic gathering just under her chest, little silk ribbons. She slipped under her cotton sheets and comforter, the pretty pink flower pattern covered her small body as she sighed softly, trying to fight through the muddled thoughts in her head to find peace and eventually sleep.

She found herself entering dreamland fitfully. Images of her parents came to mind, standing all prim and proper for a church portrait, but then suddenly turning to nightmarish images of dark, damp basements reeking of rot and the worst that humanity has to offer. Her mind played out all the normal, (for her) terrors of abuse, neglect, abandonment and betrayal that she had suffered at the hands of people claiming to be "messengers of God". Mixed into the nightmares were the slighted tinge of hope, sometimes if she was lucky a beautiful woman would come rescue her, tonight the beauty was replaced by a dark curiosity. Yes tonight as she dreamed in that dirty little apartment, the image of a different sort came to mind, one she had only just met, Ellie.

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Ellie Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:16 pm

Ellie wiped her mouth and looked down at the pathetic wretch on the floor beneath her - she was panting like a dog on heat, her skirt was pulled up and her hand was clearly in her panties, she was writhing and touching herself uncontrollably - Ellie laughed and shook her head - she hadn't had to spend long talking this one into coming back to the trailer....she had been easy to glamour too, in fact Ellie had the suspicion she could have fed without the need to glamour her and she would have been perfectly willing but she knew the risk of her telling people afterwards was too high - now she was dealing with the after effects of the glamouring and the bite which always seemed to arouse this insane lust in humans - Ellie hadn't even touched her in a sexual way - she wasn't in the mood, tonight there was only one girl on her mind and it wasn't 'Cindy the barfly'.

Walking to the fridge - Ellie placed a bottle of 'extra' blood she had collected from the girl onto the shelf then went to the bathroom to clean herself up - she brushed her red stained teeth, pausing as she heard the girl in the next room bring herself to climax - she looked at herself in the mirror - rolled her eyes and shook her head again then replaced the brush and went to get rid of her semi - unwanted guest.

Cindy hadn't taken much confusing to make her forget the events in the trailer and Ellie watched with one last shake of her head as her meal staggered off down the path of the trailer park.
Looking at her watch she smiled - by now it should be about time for some after dinner entertainment - providing of course that her newest dancer wasn't the insomniac kind.
Ellie locked up her trailer and found her bike keys in her pocket ....she looked at them and shoved them back into her pocket - no - tonight she would take a pleasant walk .....if she walked along the path Amilee had walked it would help with her investigation and of course it wouldn't take much to catch the scent of where she had been - it was a scent Ellie would not forget in a hurry.

The streets Amilee had walked down were pretty typical of someone who had walked the route many times yet Ellie could feel a strange overwhelming sensation of misery with every footstep.....Jesus Christ what was this girls story if she felt like this AFTER she had just got herself a job? You would think that would have made her just a little happy but all Ellie could feel from her residual energy was sadness and a hollow empty ache.
She paused at the diner Amilee had obviously entered but she didn't go in. The table she had sat at was empty and held no information for her so she continued her tracking until she reached a shabby looking apartment building - it was harder here to pick up the girls perfumed scent over the smell of stale urine and filth but it was definitely there.

Ellie stood for a while occasionally looking out down the road as if she were waiting for a cab - she didn't want to draw attention after all. She was listening hard and one by one drowning out the voices, snoring, TV's and mundane sounds of the other slum dwellers till she had honed in on one and one alone.
A soft level breathing, broken with an occasional murmur of .....was that fear? She was dreaming - that much was obvious so Ellie slipped into the apartment building and followed the sound up the stairs.
She eventually came to a door that smelt like a bed of roses compared to the other piss reeking doors she had encountered so far and she stopped listening to the now loud breathing and fitful sleeping sounds of Amilee.
She smiled and quietly tried the door ....of course it was locked - she quenched her disappointment and looked round for another way in - there was a window here on the landing and it was ajar ....she lifted it and leaned out - smiling when she saw that Amilee's window was open the smallest crack - she hopped out onto the ledge and walked easily along the thin strip to the sleeping girls room. Sliding up the window with ease she dropped into what had to be the sitting room.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkfR9SqMXpk&nohtml5=False

Ellie surveyed the strange looking room - it was like dingy brown and pink itself were having a battle of wills over who was going to decorate the place! - Dirty walls were hung with pretty pink frames and the faces in the frames were not of this urban world - they were smiling and clean. "So...." Ellie whispered herself ..."Ex-college girl, ex-rich bitch...." She squinted and looked closer at one of the pictures of Amilee with a female friend and she grinned ...."and possibly ex-girlfriends...."

Ellie moved to the coffee table and lifted the papers there with one finger, quickly scanning the information on them like a computer - nothing much of interest to her but still she filed away the information in her mind should she need it in the future before wandering around the rest of the room.
Ellie began to wonder if everything this girl owned was fucking pink! everything was so ....out of place....it was obvious this girl had come from a whole different world - or at least wished that she had. She was a girly girl who craved nice things and had tried to make them fit into this drab little existence and had only succeeded in making the place look odd.
Ellie raised her eyebrows as she scanned the room - this is not what she had expected at all and it kind of amused her - she opened the fridge....."wow ok ...so she is either broke or dieting..." she laughed and closed it again looking round for something else to investigate.
She saw the bedroom door and smiled - sometimes she loved being a vampire - being able to move around unheard and unnoticed was one of her most favourite traits and she put this skill into use now as she slipped inside the room where Amilee lay sleeping.

Ellie stood for a moment watching her - the covers had come back and she was dressed in a nightie all too prim and proper for a bar dancer.....the hem of the girly nightie had slid up to reveal a smooth thigh and Ellie involuntarily licked her lips and stepped closer - the girl murmured something and Ellie halted in her tracks ......she was still sleeping so she returned to the job in hand and slid open one of the drawers - girls always kept private things in the top drawer - another thing that amused her - but all that was in here were cotton panties - Ellie smirked as she lifted a pair out of the drawer and held them up - "folded?? really??" .....she stifled a laugh and shoved them back in resisting the urge to mess the whole lot up.
She had seen enough - she had a pretty good picture of this girl now and she knew she should leave before...
"Ellie!"
Ellie's heartbeat would have stopped if she had one....and she froze thinking Amilee had awoken - she slowly turned around wondering what she was gonna say to her - no excuse was gonna cover this ....but her eyes were closed...Ellie leaned forward and looked closer ...Yes she was definitely till asleep......a smile crept over Ellie's face and she tried hard not to laugh out loud....she was dreaming about her!!
"well who would have thought it ....." Ellie whispered to herself in disbelief "....little princess having dreams about me....wonder if they're naughty ones.." she almost laughed but managed to remain silent .....she took a step closer..."well if they're not they soon will be..." she smirked and reached out a hand. Trailing her fingers very softly up the girls thigh to her nightie hem she allowed the fabric to catch on her finger and rise up as she continued the path up her side to her breast where she circled the girls nipple over the thin fabric before tracing her fingers back down to the cotton panties that had been revealed by the lifted hem ......there she drew soft little patterns over the girls underwear and smirked as the girl reacted to her touch in her sleep .....she watched as the tell tale sign of arousal appeared, dampening Amilee's sweet floral panties, and she smiled in satisfaction. Taking one last look at the girl she returned to the sitting room and glanced around before dropping out of the window to the street below and running home to her trailer.

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Amilee woke up feeling incredibly unrested. Her mind was still a confusing whirl of thought. She went about her morning activities with a nervous twitch seeming to tint every action, she spilled hot coffee on her leg, cut herself shaving her legs in the shower and banged her forehead against the door frame leading to her having to apply a bit of extra make up to hide the red mark that had bled just the tiniest bit. She picked at the reheated remains of last nights dinner, eating just enough to sustain her before tossing the left over bits into the trash.

When she finally left for her first day of work the sun was starting to slowly set. It was if everything happened slower here, and the quick walk to the bar felt longer than it should have with her nerves making her sweat just as much as the heat. Tonight she had put on the short black halter top and shorts issues to her as a uniform. The material was thin and clung to her body in ways she was very unused to. It hid nothing and so she found she had to suck it up and fake some confidence, she coached herself to pretend this was only a movie, life was her stage now, this was her chance to reinvent herself and become something totally different if she wanted to, and oh god how badly she wanted to.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSrrdppZoT4&nohtml5=False

She walked into the bar with more confidence today. Her bright shiny blue eyes eagerly searched out Ellie. She found herself scared of this woman and yet strangely attracted. She didn't try to fool herself that someone like Ellie would find anything interesting in her, but she was lying i she ever tried to state that her mind had not already made very well formed fantasies.

She walked over to the bar inside and looked at Ellie and smiled shyly. Another girl took over and led her to the pole, and began to train her in a few basic movies. Amilee realized it was hard work and she was soon breathing hard and whimpering at the effort it took to climb up and down the pole and perfect movies that the other girls around her were making look so easy.. At one point as she had fallen from the pole for the 4th time she cursed loudly and rubbed her ankle softly. "Damn!" Her southern drawl coaxed the word from her pouting lips into more syllables than seemed natural as she stood back up to try again.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s78w_gKv0Ic

It was a long hard night for Amilee. Some of the customers laughed at her, others seemed amused and would watch for a time before walking off to be better entertained by more experienced dancers. Each time this would happen she would sigh, bite her lip and struggle with a nagging thought in the back of her mind. At one point during the night a song comes on that seems to have the bar patrons worked up and a few of the dancers hop up onto the bar to dance. The girl working with Amilee makes the comment that one day she'll be up there too. This causes the nagging thought to return. It'd a conflicting sensation, one that tears her between shame and longing, disgust and aching desire. She watches the dancers, wondering what had brought her to this point in life and yet wishing she was up there with eyes admiring her body.

As the night wore on she became less and less clumsy on the pole, she even earned some compliments from others, she still had a ways to go, but she felt more confident. She hadn't lost all of her insecurity though. In some moments when she wasn't actively engaged on the pole, she would nervously hide her body, cross her arms in front of her cleavage or otherwise try to shield her body from staring eyes. Every so often she would get a quick glimpse of Ellie and she could feel her heart stop in her chest. Then she would try to clear her mind, there was no reason in this world, she told herself, that this woman would be remotely interested in her. But try as she might, she couldn't quite get the images from last night's dreams out of her head. Ellie coming through her window, Ellie touching her, her body responding, even now she had to cough to cover up the sound of a soft whimper that had accidentally escaped her lips.

By the end of the night she felt absolutely exhausted. Her feet ached, her legs and arms were a bit banged up from her various failed attempts on the pole, and she staggered out of the bar slowly, wondering if her body was going to be able to keep up with her new chosen profession. She was too tired to stop and eat at the diner, it was late and her eyes barely wanted to stay open. A bottle of water, a bag of cheetos and a package of recees peanut butter cups purchased from the gas station would have to do it for the night. She stumbled up to her apartment, each step making her legs feel heavier by the moment. When she had finally made it to the top of the stairs and unlocked the door she shut the door behind her but in her hazy exhaustion forgot to lock it. She never made it to her bedroom. She meant to sit on the couch and open up the mail she'd collected. Instead she leaned hear weary head against the back of the couch and was asleep within minutes.

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Ellie Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:18 pm

It had been 2 months now since the night Ellie had tried Amilee's apartment door and to her surprise found it open. She had slipped inside for the second time - yet this time it was not out of curiosity, it was out of a strange desire to be near this girl that she couldnt get out of her mind. She remembered back to that second night -

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUMwFaXTM3s&ebc=ANyPxKpQNB7VBYwZDYWAtNf3TKwmNJCZuqRCC9b9Iyh1bSIUXNqw7Is7C-qZCrXiACftG4M6Tj0jfchpDLfCerwoih4QaXuLCw&nohtml5=False

how all night in the club, she had caught Amilee looking at her, the way she had tried hard not to laugh everytime she had caught her glance and the alien feeling of desperation when she saw her leaving at the end of her shift - thats when it had started.
Ellie felt like some weirdo stalker, some crazed fan of a movie star or perverted peeping tom but every night was the same. she couldnt help herself. The club would close up and she would take her 'meal' from whoever she had found and then make her way to Amilees apartment where she would slip inside and sit throughout the night - sometimes watching her sleep, other nights she would simply read whatever trashy magazines Amilee had lying around the place or entertain herself by looking through her diaries or photos. By dawn she would be gone and safely in her trailer where no one would suspect her disturbing behaviour.
She had TRIED to stop and one night had even tried to return to her previous antics with one of the girls she had invited for 'dinner' but halfway through the proceedings Ellie had felt very nauseous and had called a halt to anything sexual, taking her blood, glamouring her and throwing her out of the trailer before pacing her room for two whole hours trying to talk herself out of going, but of course she had relented and 30 minutes later she found herself sat by Amilee's side as her chest softly rose and fell in the blissful arms of slumber.
There wasn't much she didn't know about the little red head now and although she was sure Amilee must have noticed oddities in her living space that hinted of a visitor - if she had - then she had never mentioned it at work. A couple of times she had even purposely moved something or left something around half to see if she said anything and half because she wanted to be caught - wanted Amilee to know she was there.
Something strange was happening to her and she pondered this as she stood now staring out of the apartment window listening to the soft breathing of Amilee in the next room.
Ellie had never felt this weird before - she had never given a crap about anyone - for many, many years she had been alone - ever since she had left the ‘family’ and gone all lone wolf so to speak. She thought back to those days – taking orders from the MC and knowing that one day she would have to be the one giving orders – yet the orders would be what was expected of her not what she would WANT to do. The suffocation had been too much and she had handed in her patch and left for UJ City.
Suddenly the sound of footsteps on the stairs broke her daydream – no one should be returning to their apartment at this time of night – over the months she had learned the movements of all the tenants and she knew they were all sleeping in their beds – she could hear them.
The smell was new too – dirty man smell, motor oil and stale beer mixed with tobacco – not pleasant – she reached out her mind and slipped into the thoughts of the approaching visitors.
Their minds were disgusting and Ellie snarled to herself as she saw through the eyes of one particularly gross ogre, the photo of Amilee in his hand. The thoughts in their mind were getting progressively worse and more excited the closer they got to the door.
They had been sent here to collect money from Amilee by an old woman – she knew that much – and although the woman had simply wanted them to scare her, they clearly had other thoughts. More violent and filthier thoughts. Ellie was seething by the time they were softly prising the door open but she calmly hid behind the kitchen counter and waited to see how this would play out – how would she explain her presence in the apartment should she try and help? She could have jumped out of the window and left but then the thought of leaving Amilee alone with these thugs was not an option to her so she held the breath she had no use for and waited.
The door came open with a surprisingly quiet crack and the stinking guests stepped inside – Ellie suppressed the urge to jump out and eat the fucking lot of them and clenched her fists white as she heard them step on the creaky board that signaled they were entering Amilee’s bedroom.
Then it came – a muffled scream the sound of a struggle – these guys were intent on taking more than Amilee’s money – they were going to take her. Ellie’s mind raced – she could stop this right now – save her – prevent the disgusting violence that was about to take place but it would mean Amilee finding out not only that she had her very own stalker but also that her stalker was not entirely human.
Suddenly Amilee burst through the bedroom door out into the sitting room – clearly making a run for freedom but the men were too fast, one of them grabbed her and pulled her to the floor and the other two began to leer and bray as he undid his belt. Ellie soaked up Amilee’s thoughts like a sponge without even trying. She was terrified and was finding it hard to breathe. Peeking around the corner of the kitchen unit she could see the man had her by the throat and was now undoing his jeans – Amilee was not getting out of this unharmed……

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8-sMJZTYf0

Ellie shook her head and rose to her feet with her hands on her hips and in her usual cocky British tone of sarcasm addressed the pigs “….Really guys? ….you’re not even gonna take her for dinner first? No chocolates? Flowers?” she raised her eyebrows in a matter of way and continued “Lie my old Mother used to say….Wine her, dine her THEN sixty nine her……oh wait….hmmm was it my Mum or was it…..” she looked up with mock confusion as if deep in thought and looked the startled men right in the eyes as her fangs snapped down with a click and she grinned like a demon “oh yeah! … it was my SIRE!”
The men didn’t even have a chance to be scared or shocked Ellie had whipped around like a blur and came to a halt holding up the main attacker by his throat with no effort at all. His terrified eyes scanned the room and his two dead friends on the floor – neck savaged and bleeding out with soft gurgling sounds, bubbles of blood frothing from the gaping wounds – his eyes darted back to Ellie who was smiling at him blood dripping from her mouth and chunks of flesh and sinew on her chin and cheeks. “Now apologize to the Lady for your very rude and un-British behaviour! …Where I come from we like good manners!”

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Amilee Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:19 pm

Life has turned into a mundane routine for Amilee. Working as a dancer was hard and demanding, at least to someone who didn't seem to have a ton of confidence or specific talent. She woke up every morning sore from the night before, would drag herself out of bed, shower, eat if she remembered to and go to work. It was a life but she was just going through the motions. She was existing in a kind of survival mode where every moment was just a way to get to the next and she felt no real purpose to her life in sight. Working as a new dancer meant she didn't make as much in tips as the other girls did. Living on such low wages meant she was barely able to afford her bills. By the second month she was now behind on rent and things between her and the landlady were getting tense. It got to the point where any knock at the door made her jump a mile for fear it would be the old woman come to tell her off again. She had heard word that her landlady had some sort of dark connections, but having grown up in such a sheltered type of environment she had never really taken it seriously.

Amilee wasn't a particularly observant person, but she did at times start to think she was going a bit crazy ever since Ellie had been sneaking into her apartment. Sometimes she found that she smelled the faint smell of cigarettes when she woke up, other times her coffee mug was in the sink when she knew she'd washed and put it away. The window seemed to always be cracked just a bit, and sometimes she just simply felt like she was being watched. But none of this had reached the threshold of enough annoyance to cause Amilee any alarm.

Amilee had other thoughts distracting her mind. Everyday that passed her obsession with Ellie in her own fantasies had grown more and more. This was likely why even if she had suspected that Ellie had been in her apartment, she might have let even more obvious signs slip through her mind. She was dreaming about this woman, and while her dreams may have been quite tame to others, to someone who had grown up so shoved full of religious doctrine and sermons preaching fire and brimstone, these night time fantasies were downright sinful. She would flinch a bit when she walked into work and saw Ellie's bike, she would pass by it sometimes and wonder what it would feel like to ride on the back of it with her legs wrapped tightly around Ellie's waist. It was a tempting dance that she weaved her way through in her mind, both wanting this woman to kiss or touch her, but then feeling her heart race at the shame these thoughts still created within her.

And then came that one fateful night that changed everything. For Amilee it was not all that different from any other night in the previous months. Hard work coupled with barely surviving with enough food or money to pay bills, body and mind weakened with stress and the lack of motivation to live was slowly wearing her down. She'd freaked out on the landlady and cried earlier that morning, told her she was doing everything she could, but that just had not seemed enough. Everything was coming to a head and whether things had happened they way they did, no matter which pathway life lead, something was due to explode at any moment.

Amilee slept fitfully, she was dreaming about Ellie again, dreaming that she was close enough to kiss her, but in her dream Ellie barely seemed to know she existed. Her dream was so vivid she could almost feel her breath on her lips, and just when she felt the soft satin sensation of lips connecting, she was startled awake by rough hands grabbing and shaking her. Rough hands of a man were on her, ripping the covers off, tearing the thin cotton nightgown from her small form, laughing at the rainbow pattern on her cotton panties before they snatched her last big of struggling dignity from her.

Amilee suddenly snapped back to the past. Her mind flickered as if changing channels, suddenly she wasn't the repressed little girl who was trying to make it in this big world. Suddenly all the anger and hate that had been pent up inside her from everything she had been victim to in her past came barreling out of her. She managed to be faster than the men who hadn't counted on this kind of reaction and broke free from their hold and raced into the living room. However the fleeting realization that she was naked caused her to falter for the briefest of seconds and in that moment of hesitation her attacker took full advantage and she was forced to the ground with a thud.

Flashes of past abuse flashed before her eyes, wide with terror, choking and gagging, still fighting and struggling as the hand closed tighter around her throat. THe man almost had his jeans opened and she cried out in resistance, she knew what he intended to do and the very thought made her throw up in her mouth a bit.

Suddenly the very air in the room seemed to shift, Amilee watched in complete confusion as someone moved from the kitchen. She listened to her words but it was as if she was still dreaming, she couldn't make sense of it. Her mind struggled to process what was occurring as the two men fell dead and bleeding to the ground. She scanned the room in fear. As soon as her attacker had let go of her she scooted back against the wall. The moments passed by in a blur, far too quickly to register that this was Ellie, that realization sunk in as slower.

The man was terrified as he sputtered out his apology Amilee thought that might've been enough, maybe Ellie would let him go free, Amilee felt sick to her stomach already at seeing the two other dead bodies bleeding out on the floor of her apartment. But it wasn't meant to be, before Amilee knew it there were now 3 dead men. She had no words, she coughed and curled up upon herself feeling soft heaving sobs leave her body.

Her mind was a complete roller coaster ride of emotion. She wasn't even thinking about why Ellie was even in her apartment yet. She was more focused on the fact that the woman had just murdered three people right before her eyes.

"What........who........who the fuck are you?!"

She coughed and cleared her throat a bit before the next words came to mind.

"What are you doing here? Are you with them? Wait no..no...."

Amilee stood up now, she walked past the fallen bodies and around to face Ellie and picked up a knife from the kitchen, suddenly she felt really bad ass. "I worked far too hard to get away from my family so if you're with them if you're with....with this...." She gestured to the men, Amilee's first paranoid reaction was that Ellie was somehow some twisted person from her own past, connected to the sick bastards that raised her, and she was ready to fight to be free of them again if she had to. "If you've been sent by them you can move on, I ain't goin' back!"

Amilee's eyes now were drown to the lips of this woman who had filled her dreams only moments before, lips she had been aching and fantasizing about kissing were now covered in slowly drying blood. Amilee felt both sickened and yet attracted, she walked closer, trying to somehow understand what she had just witnessed.

"Look at you! You're like some sick monster! Like those weirdos in high school all obsessed with creepy shit pretending they are vampires, as if those things actually exist."

Amilee was shaking with some kind of rage at this point there were dead people in her apartment, she was probably about to be evicted, maybe the neighbors would call the cops. Yet the strangest feelings still surfaced, in the midst of her angry confusion, she realized she was still so curious about this woman. With the pathetic little steak knife held in her grasp, as if it could possibly hold some kind of protection, she ventured closer. Her face was a mess of amazement, wonder, curiosity, fear, and yet a longing to understand. She pushed back her messy hair from her face and stared at this woman with wide determined eyes.

"Just tell me everything.....please tell me. My whole life has been secrets held from me, just tell me what just happened here, and don't hold back."

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Ellie Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:20 pm

Ellie listened to the inane mumblings of the girl – slowly nodding her head as if she had completely expected this reaction. Her gaze followed Amilee around the room with the hint of a smirk across her face and when she had finished her questioning Ellie remembered she was still holding the almost headless corpse of the filthy rapist and glanced at it in disgust before letting it drop to the floor and wiping her hands together as if she had just touched something disgusting….she quickly realised this was not going to make much of a difference and she stepped towards the kitchen to clean herself up.

Amilee raised the pathetic kitchen knife as Ellie made her move and she smirked again holding up her hands in a ‘its ok stay calm I’m going this way’ gesture – like a knife would make much difference anyway she knew full well she could take that knife any time she wanted and she had a feeling Amilee also knew that.
She picked up a tea towel and started wiping her face as she began… “Well my I just start by saying …” she wiped her neck and started on her hands “you’re welcome! …..I mean it’s not like I just saved you from getting a pussy full of scum cum or anything is it! Jeeze you Americans are rude!”

She suddenly realized how casual she was being and remembered that this was probably the most fucked up thing this human girl had ever seen in her life. She wiped her leather jacket and held the tea towel over the sink… “Hey listen …” she looked up at the girl while searching her pockets for her zippo lighter….. “Stop freaking out OK? Whatever your thinking I'm not gonna hurt you and I'm not WITH anybody…” she found her lighter and nonchalantly set fire to the tea towel allowed it to flame up to her fingers before dropping it in the sink to continue to burn into ashes. Ellie took a cigarette from her packet and lit it on the dying flame of the bloody cloth before stepping over a body and sitting down and putting her feet up on the coffee table.

She looked at Amilee and Amilee looked back expectantly, Ellie laughed and shook her head trying to stop herself from rolling her eyes… “Ok OBVIOUSLY you are not gonna let this go and you won’t be satisfied until I’ve spilled ….I could glamour you…” she looked up at the girl and squinted slightly as if she were thinking hard before finishing her sentence “….but I don’t think I wanna do that……so I guess I better give you the lowdown so we can get the hell outta here before YOU get arrested for triple fucking homicide…” She smiled sarcastically at the paled girl still holding the puny kitchen knife.
“First things first OK – I am not talking to you while you are waving that fucking thing at me …” Amilee looked at the knife and began to speak but before she had finished Ellie was in the chair cleaning the blood from under her nails with the knife Amilee still thought she was holding - she looked at her empty hand open mouthed.
“So anyway” Ellie continued “the usual questions first I’m guessing?” she looked at Amilee who was still open mouthed and laughed again “you really are cute when you’re dumbfounded anyone ever tell you that?” When she realised she wasn’t going to get so much as a response let alone a laugh she rolled her eyes and continued “ok so …” she began her list in a matter of fact tone… “….yes – I am a vampire, yes - I drink blood, No – I do not have a heartbeat or a reflection, yes i do need to fucking sleep, no - i don't hang upside down when i do it nor sleep in a coffin, Yes – I’m pretty damn old, no – I don’t age, yes – I drink from humans, no- I don’t normally go around killing people” she paused and glanced to the bodies on the floor …. “um often…….yes – I fucking love garlic- tho not so keen on the old holy water, no – I don’t fucking sparkle, no – I’m not crazy nor am I ‘bullshitting’ you….. Aaaand No – daylight doesn’t burn me” she leant forward grinning and waggling her finger at Amilee, whispering secretively “I have a magic ring…shhh”

She sat back in her chair and sucked on her cigarette... “Did I cover everything? Or would you like to chat about the history of vampirism until the cops arrive?” Ellie looked at the girl again – she was shaking her head and looking like she might either cry or pass out from shock at any moment and it softened her black heart for a moment… she leaned forward again and the girl flinched … Ellie sighed “hey listen…. You don’t have to believe anything right now other than A) I have no intention of hurting you – if I wanted to I could have killed you by now and B) I’m your best and in fact ONLY chance of getting out of here before the cops come…. So…. you gonna stand there with your mouth open thinking about which butch dyke you’re gonna wifey up to in prison? Or you gonna grab your shit and trust me enough to get you the fuck out of here? ….the choice is yours and my bike is waiting...”

Ellie flicked her cigarette out of the window and got to her feet palms out in front of her - as if one choice sat in either of them… she drew back her top lip slightly and retracted her fangs then stared at Amilee waiting for her to make her choice….

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Amilee Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:20 pm

It made Amilee's blood boil inside whenever Ellie laughed at her. Tell her to calm down? After what she had just seen? How dare she?! She huffed and wanted to punch this woman, but was also very aware of her ability to potentially do the same to her that she had done to those men. Her eyes followed every movement, watching her clean herself up so nonchalantly as if she this was nothing more than some mud she'd tracked inside. Amilee balled her fists up and gripped the knife tighter but it was at that moment that she felt her nails connect to her palm and realized the knife was gone.

"How did you?" Her palm opened, she stared from it, to Ellie's hand where the knife now rested and realized that she was going to have to extend some sort of respect for someone who held this much power. Trust? No way was she letting her terrified heart go that far, she simply nodded in a sort of robotic way. She walked backwards to her bedroom, as if she couldn't seem to take her eyes off Ellie, both in shock and in fear of what she might do if she turned her back. Once in the room she stared at the torn apart bed covers and let a few tears fall. She picked up a pink backpack from her closet and shoved things into it, clothes, her laptop, a few personal possessions and then walked back out to look at Ellie. She had a million things she wanted to say, but all of them were things she knew she would regret, so she held her tongue.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aFied2YYVg

Swallowing hard, Amilee realized that this was possibly the only option she had left. But it wasn't necessarily the worst thing to ever happen to her. All her life she had been waiting for someone to save her, and here someone was telling her that she could take her away from it all. Here someone had stepped in when no one else ever had and had not stood by and let her get hurt. She wasn't entirely sure of Ellie's motives, but she knew somewhere deep inside that this was possibly the one person in this world who treat her like she mattered. So with the deepest of breathes that dug deep inside of her soul for courage, she whispered softly.

"I don't know how or why you'd do anything for someone like me but, I'll go with you."

It was like some sort of dream following Ellie down the stairs, her heart thundering in her chest, the warm humid air hitting her skin, sweaty from all the activity. She awkwardly climbed onto the back of the bike, and realized this was not at all how she imagined things in her dreams. It was almost terrifying. Ellie sped off almost without warning, and she gripped her legs around her waist not so much in some fancy romantic way but because the petite girl was truly feeling like she might go flying off onto the side of the highway.

The lights of the city rushed by in a blue, they passed through the city so fast that she couldn't tell where buildings and cars and people began or ended, the air was chilling her skin, her hair was whipping across her face and she closed her eyes. All too soon the bike came to a stop in a grungy trailer park. Amilee bit her lip and felt her nose flair a bit, she didn't realize how unattractive this made her as she clumsily slid off the bike and watched Ellie walk to the trailer she had parked in front of and motioned her inside.

"Uhm.....I'm not.....going in there with you....I mean it's great and all that you just saved my life, but you did just kill 3 people in front of me and I don't exactly ......" Amilee's voice trailed off and she watched Ellie give her that amused smile that still infuriated her so much. After some more whining on Amilee's part, Ellie led her to an empty trailer and left her to be.

The days that followed were confusing, scary and awkward. Amilee would wake up from a fitful night of sleep and go through her normal routine, but now with the clear knowledge that someone was keeping an eye on her. She didn't know why no police ever tried to track her down, she didn't understand what kind of power this woman held, but it was as if no one dared to cross her. It was quieter in the trailer park, it was a bit further from the road and so little noises stuck out more, birds, crickets, a married couple living next to her trailer seemed to argue a lot and the shrillness of the woman's voice coupled by a loud booming rebuttal every so often would jar her awake.

It was the nightmares that now surfaced that drove something to change inside her though. Every night she laid on the hard lumpy bed inside the trailer and her attackers faces and evil laughter filled her head. She knew they were dead now, but the memory haunted her, it made her so achingly aware of how vulnerable she was. She would wake up in a cold sweat, shivering and crying, hair plastered to her face, tears staining her cheeks and then every night she would wrap the blankets around her tighter and cry herself back to sleep, every night that is, until the 4th night. This time the nightmare was so vivid she swore she would feel the marks on her skin where they had gripped her wrists and pushed on her neck. And without even thinking she bolted out of bed and while softly sobbing she treaded barefooted from her trailer to Ellie's.

She was calmer by the time she reached the trailer door, she almost turned back, realizing how silly it all seemed, she puffed out her chest for a moment, chiding herself for being so scared, telling herself to be a big girl and go back to sleep. But in a moment of loneliness and fear her hand reached for the door handle, she opened it and stepped inside. The trailer looked much like hers, so she knew where the bedroom was. She bit her lip softly and walked slowly to the bed, and then without even thinking she slid under the covers and tried to curl into a ball.

Enough about her fantasies and dreams, or how she had wished things would be, too scared to care anymore about perfect little moments she had envisioned for herself. Amilee softly whimpered and let her small body tightly press against Ellie's and she whispered softly into the night. "Ellie? Ellie I'm scared. . "

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Ellie Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:22 pm

The whiskey bottle was empty. It had been drained dry….unlike Ellie’s companion for the evening who was currently face down on her bed. Ellie sighed and kicked away the bedside table in front of her sending the bottle crashing to the floor. The girl did not flinch and Ellie grew irritated. Ever since she had brought Amilee home to her trailer park she had just lost her appetite – she was surviving of course – taking enough to sustain her but not enjoying her meals as she had before. Much like a child forcing down their greens because their Mother had told them it would make them grow. When she slept her dreams were full of blood fuelled sexual scenarios and she had tried to think of these with tonight’s dinner guest but it didn't do any good, she had ended up confiding in the girl about her desires for another and the night had ended with them drinking enough bourbon to sink a ship - she looked at her on the bed face down and the easiest lay she has possibly ever encountered but she just looked away and sighed – it was Amilee in her dreams not this pasty, alcohol filled whore who wouldn't wake the fuck up.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ygt-jJs2-a8&nohtml5=False

Ellie had been giving Amilee her space since she had moved her in to one of her empty trailers but it didn't stop her thinking about her, nor worrying whether she should have glamoured her after all. She kicked the comatose slut on the couch and with no response she angrily picked her up and threw her over her shoulder. After a quick look out of the window she stepped outside the trailer and walked across the parking lot to the steps of her nightclub.
There were still some staff inside and she knew they were used to finding drunkards here after they closed up – they would take care of her and put her in a cab home.
Ellie dropped the girl onto the steps and lifted her head, slapping her hard across the cheek. The girl woke up with a start and stared at Ellie almost cross eyed with intoxication “are you with me?” Ellie asked …..the girl nodded and Ellie locked her eyes to hers “good …OK, you have no idea who I am, how you got here or how you got the mark on your breast – you will go to sleep and wake up with a huge hangover …..” Ellie paused and frowned slightly as a thought crossed her mind - then rolled her eyes and added in a bored tone “and you will decide that drinking is no good for you, go back to college and make a good life for yourself – understood?”
The girl nodded again and Ellie ran her fingers over her eyes putting the girl back to sleep – she dropped her unceremoniously and walked away cursing under her breath that she was getting fucking soft. She was used to glamouring lately – she had done it to every cop she had intercepted as they had come around following up leads on Amilee. It was getting tedious but things were dying down now and she was pretty sure they were in the clear for the triple murder in Amilee’s apartment.

Ellie returned to her trailer and opened the cupboard looking for more whiskey – there was none – fuck! She should have grabbed one while over at the club but then someone might have wondered why she didn't see little Miss sleepalot outside – she would have to go to bed sober ….again….one of the unfortunate side effects of being vampire – you needed gallons of alcohol to get drunk!
“fuck it!” she cursed and headed for her bedroom. She undressed quickly and pulled back the covers before she flopped down on her bed and lay for a moment once again thinking about Amilee and the night she brought her here. The things she said, her mistrust, her disbelief that someone might actually think she was worth saving and then ….those legs wrapped around her – the way her hands wrapped around her waist and held her tightly….”ohhh god here we go again!” she thought, more fucking frustrating dreams she guessed and she rolled onto her tummy, pulled a pillow over her head and closed her eyes trying to feel as comatose as her previous bed friend.

At some point Ellie must have fell asleep because the next thing she knew she was dreaming, but it wasn't like her usual dreams where she would go to Amilee’s trailer and seduce her or follow her down some dark secluded alley and take what she wanted – this time was different.
This dream had a totally alien feel – there was no urgency or lustful energy to it. She couldn't place the feeling because it was something she had never felt before. In her dream she was sleeping – like she was watching herself from above in her bed – laid on her tummy just as she had been in real life. Sleeping soundly until a quiet creak came from the hallway – her trailer door. Ellie was awake in a flash but laid still not even opening her eyes – she always left the trailer door unlocked when she was at home – she was lazy and well….anyone who was trying to break in would be like a fly landing on a spiders web – an easy meal.

There was a soft padding along her hall and it was coming towards her room – still she kept her eyes shut and listened ready to pounce when she was sure they were trapped…..then she smelt her….her body screamed at her AMILEE! she remained motionless unsure as to what was happening and curious to find out.
Suddenly the bed covers were being moved and a small body slipped underneath them – the heat from the girls skin almost burnt Ellie as she curled up next to her like a cat. Ellie didn't move – what the fuck was happening? – she never dreamt like this…. Then she spoke, her name sounded like honey dripping off the girls lips “Ellie?” …..OK this wasn't a dream she was sure of it now and she opened her eyes and lifted the pillow slightly to peek out, her perfect vision in the dark seeing at once the flash of red hair and the extra body in the blankets. She spoke again and it made Ellie jump as her mind finally comprehended that this was really happening. “Ellie…I’m scared...”

Ellie reached down and pulled her close “you should be…” she laughed “crazy little bitch, who the fuck gets into a bed with a god damned vampire?” She felt the girl’s body stiffen at her words and it made her laugh again, she pulled her closer still and closed her eyes as if she was still half asleep “oh jeeze, relax shorty I've already eaten”

They lay in silence a while but Ellie was far from sleeping – her mind was racing – the girl she had been obsessing over for months was now in her arms and all of her casual sarcasm and ‘devil may care’ attitude had got up and walked out on her. She had never experienced this feeling of nervousness – of not knowing what to do with her hands. She knew what she WANTED to do with them but something was stopping her and it felt awkward as hell.
She opened her eyes the smallest bit and looked down at Amilee, fuck! She was beautiful, not that she hadn't noticed her pretty face before but in this light with her messy hair and lack of make-up she was BEAUTIFUL.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDreWd3fHj8

Ellie swallowed and her fingers involuntarily began to stroke the girls arm. She gave a sleepy sigh and moved as though she were getting comfortable burying her face in Amilee’s hair and breathing in her scent – a scent she had grown familiar with over the months but now was intoxicating in its strength.

A different feeling was now starting to rise inside her and THIS feeling she knew very well. Lust – she moved slightly pressing her hips against her and taking a deep breath of perfumed air she couldn't stop herself any longer – brushing the hair from Amilees neck she dropped her head and softly ran her tongue over her skin, gently kissing up to her ear. She felt the girl stiffen again and heard her heartbeat begin to race – “relax I'm not gonna hurt you” she whispered into her ear then with one finger on her chin she turned the girls face to hers and kissed her lips – a soft gentle kiss, slow and teasing ….suddenly Ellie found her kiss being returned and the simple action made Ellie explode inside.

Lust overwhelmed her and her kiss became harder ….the more Amilee responded to her the more the fire spread inside – She pulled her over onto her back and in a blur she was above her – a brief silent pause as she locked eyes with her, the only sound in her ears Amilee’s heavy breathing, she looked into the girls thoughts and found what she was looking for – she wanted her too, through all the fear and apprehension – she wanted her too.

That was enough for Ellie and taking the hem of her shirt she tore its easily in half exposing Amilee’s breasts to the cool night air – her nipples instantly hardened and Ellie savagely sucked them into her mouth one at a time, licking and kissing them until Amilee was helplessly grinding against her softly moaning and obviously forgetting all about the fact that her bed partner was a killer.

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Amilee Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:22 pm

Amilee wasn't entirely sure what she was expecting to happen when she first crawled into bed with Ellie. She pressed herself tight against her, wanting to feel some kind of comfort, but also feeling the tense sexual energy skimming through the air. A soft gasp escaped her lips when Ellie kissed her. Amilee was no virgin, but her experience in anything sexual was mostly a mix of getting with girls who weren't really sure they liked girls to begin with and the built up frustration of wanting far more than any of those awkward girls were willing to give.

But this, this was far different. There was no doubt in Amilee's mind that Ellie knew exactly what she wanted and would take it. And while she would never have admitted it just yet, that was the very thing Amilee was craving so deeply inside. Her mind flashed back to her dreams, of how it would feel to kiss those lips, and she closed her eyes, drinking in the new sensations, absorbing it like a sponge.

It felt like she would explode inside, the feeling of Ellie's mouth on her nipples, them hardening under her touch, growing and aching with every second of stimulation. Her hips started to instinctively rise and fall, a frustrated whimper escaping her lips. She both knew what she wanted and yet had no clue how to get it and she helplessly squirmed and writhed about on the bed.

She had lost herself to everything else around her, nothing existed but this shimmering moment of pleasure soaking through her core, spreading lightening touches that felt hot as fire against every surface of tingling, aching flesh. She greedily took in every touch and kiss, moaning loudly when she felt fingers enter into her tight little body. She ground herself upon them, her body soaking them with the flowing wetness forming. She screamed and moaned and gave no thought to who might have heard her. It was as if a switch had flipped and the girl who had previously been ashamed to admit her playtime with the shower head in the mornings, was now just a wanton slut, growling and moaning. She threw herself about, trying to squirm away at some point it felt as if she couldn't possibly take anymore.

At some point that she couldn't pinpoint she felt something entirely new and she sucked in a sharp breath as lips and tongue connected on her pussy. She was crying at this point, not in pain but at how each sensation just seemed to fill in the gaps for things she had ached for and never felt. The pressure was building higher and higher inside her. Amilee had never actually experienced an orgasm, she'd gotten to the point of, 'no more' and just let the feelings fizzle out before and other girls seemed content with that, but there was something else happening here that she couldn't explain and that something was that Ellie wasn't stopping. It was driving her mad inside, thrashing about and wanting it to end but also wishing it would never stop. She didn't know what she needed to do to get from one point to the next, as if she was waiting for permission for something that she couldn't find the words to describe. She wanted to cum, but she felt like her body just didn't know how.

In a raspy whisper that turned into a near scream by the time she was done she screamed out. "Oh god fucking hell I can't take anymoreeeee!"

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Ellie Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:23 pm

The air was think with Amilee’s frustration, Ellie could feel her body teetering on the verge of a climax and it amused her. From the thoughts flying through Amilee’s head she was getting to know all her sexual little secrets and they only went to fuel her lust. So she had never orgasmed? It was a challenge that Ellie took on happily and she upped her game one hundred percent. This girl was not only going to orgasm she was going to feel like her blood was on fire.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKu117rR5uM&nohtml5=False

She was there, Ellie knew she was, but something was preventing her falling over the edge. She searched through Amilee’s head looking for a reason, looking for anything that may help explain why she was blocking her climax and she found it. Something in Amilee’s past had conditioned her body and mind, taught her that to let herself go was bad. Something inside of her was telling her she was not allowed to enjoy herself unless she had been given permission. This made Ellie both annoyed yet intrigued.

Of course it must have been some kind of sick brainwashing from overly strict parents or the like and it pissed Ellie off to know she had been controlled like this all of her life but at the same time she had to admit that the thought of having someone she could control sexually without having to glamour or compel them?..... Well, that could be fun as hell!

Ellie rose to her knees and replaced her tongue with her fingers, her thumb circling Amilee’s clit while her fingers dipped inside her over and over again. She watched for a moment as Amilee writhed on the bed attempting to push herself harder onto Ellie’s hand. She couldn't help but laugh a little at her desperate, frustrated movements, her fangs gleamed in the light and Amilee’s eyes opened wide as she looked up at her. Of course Ellie had no intention of biting Amilee just yet, it was simply a natural reaction a vampire had to sexual arousal – but quickly checking the girls mind – she wasn't worried about scaring her – she was scared but it made Ellie laugh even more when she realised this girl kinda liked the feeling and that her fangs were in fact turning her on even more.

Just to play on it she leaned forward and kissed her breasts again but this time she allowed her fangs to scratch lightly across the girl’s skin. Amilee moaned louder and she knew she could have sunk her teeth into her flesh right there and then with no protesting but she didn't, she held out a little longer kissing and playing ensuring she was almost insane with lust before she put her mouth close to her ear and whispered “Amilee?” she paused holding out for precious seconds feeling her body tighten, rocking with anticipation then released her with a few simple words ….”Cum for me…”

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Amilee Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:25 pm

The feelings were building up so high, everything inside her felt tight and pulled so taut that no resistance remained. She was struggling and gasping for air, the small grungy trailer was full of her moans and screams for mercy. There was that wall again, the one she had hit countless times and felt powerless to get to the other side of. People always told her sex was so awesome but until now she had always felt disappointed.

She started to feel like she might have to pee and she was freaking out, what if she totally humiliated herself, what if Ellie found out she was broke or something, because that i what she had always assumed, that she was too damaged to do things right. But it didn't matter how much she screamed and moaned and struggled, Ellie seemed determined not to stop.

"Ellie? Ellie I can't. . . can't do it.....I'm not....I've never...." She bit her lip hard, the frantic feeling was growing more and more and she was just about to give up, throw her hands in the air and admit defeat, she could almost see herself shamefully walking from the trailer once Ellie realized what a pathetic freak she was.

And then it happened, those words, she was confused at first, tilting her head, staring wide eyed down at Ellie. What if she couldn't? What if she. . . suddenly none of that mattered. Amilee's mind may have not known what to do, but her body began to play it out as if those words were the beginning chords to a symphony and her body was the instrument playing the melody out.

Her back arched and she screamed out, it was almost painful, it ached and throbbed so much that she would do anything for it to stop. Inch by inch her body reached the top of the climax and then teetered on the top. One second she was sure she was going to never get there and the next she was falling, crashing, tumbling down a waterfall of cascading sensations.

"Ellie....Ellie....Ellie...Ellie....Ellieeeeeeee" The sheer force of the screams made her throat go so raw she could almost taste blood. She squirmed and thrashed and practically threw herself around the bed, it was like she was on fire, the feeling was that amazing, and her body's first instinct was to refuse it, tell her she didn't deserve to feel it. She tried to push Ellie away, her hands balled up into fists, but it was no use, she just wasn't that strong. Her body climaxed again and again. Which each wave that landed upon her and surrounded her, she resisted less and less, unless she was just swimming, floating, lost in this sea of pleasure.

It seemed like hours before Ellie stopped. Amilee's body felt raw and exhausted. She was panting for air and twitching with the after shock like effects of having cum more in one time than some people do in a lifetime. Her eyes felt glassy and her vision blurred, she blinked a few times realizing that it was tears blocking her from seeing, that she was actually crying. She laid there, completely worn out, listening to the sound of her heard thundering still, feeling her body throb as she processed what had just occured. And then in her hazy state of confusion she reached out for Ellie. She wasn't even sure what she wanted or needed from her, but her hands clung tightly to her, throwing her body at her and almost demanding to be cuddled. Her entire existence in this moment felt wild and untamed and she was aching for someone to hold tight and contain her in their arms.

"Don't let go...please please I......" She was going to say she needed her, but that seemed wrong, sounded desperate. What was wrong with her? She shook her head as the tears fell even more and she sobbed aganst Ellie's skin, trying to pull herself together somehow, but it seemed impossible. Finally after she had calmed her crying enough to speak she looked up and whispered. "I don't want to sleep alone anymore....it's too empty over there." She bit her lip softly and sighed softly. "Can I stay here instead?"

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Ellie Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:27 pm

Ellie lay with a mess of a girl. She hadn't expected this reaction – she had expected something – but not this. She was crying and Ellie had no idea how to make it stop so she just laid there and waited in awkward silence.
Then came words even more unexpected….. Ellie pushed her off, jumping to her feet and pulling on her leather pants…. “What the fuck Amilee?!” she flustered…. “I mean are you fucking crazy? Have you lost your ever loving fucking mind?” Her mind whirled – stay here? In her trailer? Did this girl have a fucking death wish? No, no, no, no this could not happen under any circumstances. What would happen if Ellie got hungry and couldn't control herself – after all these years she had pretty good self-control of the thirst now but she couldn't take that chance. No, she WOULDN'T take that chance.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8otEnQVtA8

Ellie didn't even stop to pull on her shirt she stormed from the room and came back with a bottle from the fridge – she knelt on the bed next to Amilee and caught her face by the chin, holding it firm to face her “look at me Amilee!” she commanded “Are you forgetting what I am? How about I remind you hey?” She opened the bottle and began to pour the contents into her mouth. Blood ran over her lips and dripped onto her bare breasts and Amilee watched with a hint of disgust on her face yet strangely interested. Ellie drained the bottle and returned her gaze to Amilee, the girl physically jumped – Ellie’s eyes were crimson red and her fangs where fully down – the dark circles were emphasized by the sudden paleness of her skin and she looked fearsome again like back in the apartment.
Ellie stared at Amilee and seeing that although she was afraid she was also unperturbed – she grew angrier still and threw the empty bottle at the wall were it shattered and showered them with glass.
“fuck!” Ellie yelled and stormed out once again – for some time she paced the kitchen wondering what the fuck this girl was thinking….could she allow her to stay? – No, god it would be ridiculous! How would she eat? She couldn't bring home the whores and chow down in front of her house guest. What if her ‘family’ came to pay her a visit again? How the hell would she protect a human from them? How would she explain that she was all shacked up with a breather? But how could she say no? She wanted this girl and she wanted her bad – more than she had ever wanted anything for herself and here she was offering herself up – she dropped onto a chair and put her head in her hands “fuck…” she said again only much quieter this time and for a different reason.

Ellie went back into the bedroom and Amilee was crying still – her arms wrapped around her knees – head down on the bed. Ellie softened and sat down next to her “Hey….come on don’t you ever stop crying?” she asked, attempting to sound like she didn't care. When she got no reply she turned around to look at her and saw her head was still down so she tried to take her hand and pulled it towards her exposing a small spike of glass in Amilee’s wrist – obviously shrapnel from the flying bottle. “shit!” Ellie cursed and pulled the shard from her skin – impulsively raising her wrist to her mouth to get rid of the blood.
Amilee startled and drew her arm back fearfully. Ellie looked at her sadly “there you see? You wanna live with me but you don’t trust me?” she paused and drew her arm back to her mouth where she licked the small cut and it healed instantaneously – she dropped her arm, grabbed her shirt and walked out of the room – without even looking back she paused at the doorway and made her leaving speech brief “Fine it's your funeral...You can sleep on the couch….”

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Amilee Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:28 pm

Was she crazy? Ellie's reaction brought Amilee slamming back into reality. Suddenly she could clearly see the scene from her apartment, the bodies on the floor, the way the blood had glistened on Ellie's face. She remembered with such crystal clear clarity the words Ellie had used to describe who and what she was. A violent shiver crept through her body. Why did she want something that had the potential to be so dangerous? She dropped her head into her hands and sobbed harder than she ever had, until she felt dried up and useless.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uXZJrGsdeM

The word trust rang through her like a ragged rusty knife, cutting open old wounds and sprinkling them with a painfully bitter taste that made her turn her head away and face the wall, refusing to look at Ellie as she left, hearing her words but feeling stung by them instead of the comfort she had expected. This wasn't the Ellie in her dreams, this was the real thing and the cold hard truth had just smacked her right in the face.

She stayed rooted to the bed for what seemed like hours. Every so often she would trace her finger tips over where the cut on her wrist had been, almost as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing, or rather wasn't seeing. After a long while she realized she really needed the bathroom, so she struggled out of the covers and crept quietly from the room. She glanced out the door realizing Ellie still hadn't returned, she shrugged to herself as she stumbled to the bathroom to pee. Sitting down on the toiler she listened to the quiet and shrugged with a little irritated wrinkle forming on her face.

Once she'd finished in the bathroom she walked back out, and thought about sulkily crawling back in bed, in case maybe Ellie would change her mind when she returned. But then she wasn't sure she wanted to give her that kind of satisfaction, she was a bit upset because she hadn't gotten the expected reaction, but yet she wasn't quite sure if this was rejection or pity or what. So she turned towards the rest of the trailer.

She padded over to the fridge and peered inside. Lots of beer, some bottles that she couldn't identify, no food though and she bit her lip as she talked to herself. "Oh yeah...that's right, she's not human...." She muttered random things to herself as she walked to the sink, turned on the water and watched it run for a few minutes, stuck her hands under it and let it wash over her skin. She pressed wet fingers to her face softly and closed her eyes tight when she felt more tears likely to come out.

Her instinct was to run. She turned off the sink and whispered under her breath. "Fine, fucking bitch, I don't need you anyway!" She went back to the empty trailer. She'd formed no attachment here and as she quickly dressed in a tank top, shorts and some running shoes she kept getting more and more upset. Amilee gathered her things back up into the pink backpack and slung it over her shoulder. She was ready to just walk away, she made it down the steps and instead of heading back to Ellie's trailer she headed out of the park. Her footsteps were silent as she walked the streets feeling lost.

What was she thinking? She couldn't go back to her apartment that was for sure. She had no family she could safely contact, no friends willing to be on her side. Really and truly she realized that Ellie was the only one who had been on her side in her entire life, and now she was afraid she didn't want her around either. She started to cry again until words stuck in her mind that Ellie had said before walking out, “Hey….come on don’t you ever stop crying?”. She balled up her fists, dug her nails into her palms hard and screamed--no words, just a sudden burst of angst and frustration.

Something moved on the side of the road, a homeless man who had been sleeping in the alley. "Hey you! Quiet, you're not the only one with a shit life ya hear? Some of us have to sleep in the streets!" Amilee walked faster, she had gotten glimpses of the alley where she man slept and she knew better than to venture into it alone. Cars passing by started to make her panic, she could see faces from her past in their windows as they drove by, suddenly she felt more vulnerable and unsafe than she ever had before.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFGvmrJ5rjM

The soles of her sneakers slapped hard against the pavement as she broke into a run. She was panting for air as she reached the trailer park again. She ran to Ellie's door, flung it open and closed it hard behind her. She hadn't been gone more than half an hour but she didn't know if Ellie was there and she wasn't sure she was ready to face her yet either.

She threw herself onto the grungy couch and curled up into the smallest ball she could humanly muster. She tugged a thin worn blanket from the arm of the sofa and dragged it around her tightly and rocked back and forth slowly. What was this feeling? Why did she care so much? Everyone had always thrown her away, so why on earth was her mind fighting so hard to get to stay? She bit her lip but forced away the tears. She thought about Ellie and what she had told her about herself. She glanced around the living room realizing how untelling it was about the woman. There was little in the way of personal items strewn about, Ellie was this mystery and she wasn't going to unfold it by looking around like this.

She resolved in that moment that she would figure out Ellie, that she'd make it her challenge to fight to stay, she'd hold onto the horns of this stone cold bucking bronco and not let it throw her off it's back. "I'll be here no matter what kinda monster you think you are....I'll be here even if you're a mean cold hearted bitch, I'll be here even if you decide to kill me or or....bite me!" She shivered as she said those last words because the very thought brought her body into a frustrated curious frenzy that she couldn't control. "I've fought enough monsters in my past, you're no worse,....you wanna be tough.....bring it, I'll show you tough things can come in tiny packages too"

She had turned her back to the door and she was so busy talking to herself she wouldn't have noticed if anyone else was in the room, if Ellie had returned she'd have found her yelling at the wall, finally having gathered up the last bits of courage from her broken soul and ready to fight to do more than just survive, no she was done with that, Amilee was ready to fucking live.

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Ellie Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:29 pm

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NvjpHbJ9Pc

The wind tugged at her hair as Ellie thundered along the road on her bike. Back at the trailer she had pulled on her shirt and jacket and stomped out to her bike like she was on autopilot, her last words ringing in her own ears "It's your funeral..." She was angry ....she knew that but also there were more of these alien feelings swirling around inside her and she needed to ride.... needed to get away from the cause of them in order to think.

She had no idea where she was going and she didn't care. All she cared about was escaping this craziness as fast as possible. She closed her eyes as she took a bend in the road at speed, inhaling the night air and exhaling her anger as if she needed to breathe. This was madness, complete insanity!
What on earth had she been thinking to allow this girl to stay? and how the hell was this going to work? ....another burst of anger took over and she released it with a roar of the bikes engine and far more miles per hour than the road laws would ever allow, good luck to any cops that tried to pull her over tonight.

She felt manipulated, pushed into a corner, and it worried her. She knew what wild animals did when cornered and she feared that Amilee might even know herself yet for some reason not care. This girl really does have a death wish, does she have ideas about becoming a vampire?, is she suicidal without the nerve to do it herself? the thoughts rushed through her mind faster than the trees now passing in a blur.

Ellie rode a long while without even realising where she was going until she suddenly found herself pulling into the carpark of her old MC's headquarters. She stopped the engine and the world fell deadly silent. She looked around and almost laughed at where her subconscious mind had taken her. Her head fell forward and dropped onto her folded arms on the handlebars and she lay there a moment contemplating what to do before screaming "Argh! fuck IT!"
Pushing herself off her bike and checking her hair in the rearview mirror she looked at the building in front of her. It looked just the same as it ever did and despite the bad feelings of the past it felt good to be back here....almost homely even.
Ellie looked herself over ...her appearance wasn't exactly great for a reunion situation....she still had dried blood on her neck running down under her shirt from her scene with the bottled blood back at the trailer and she looked somewhat dishevelled... she shrugged, fuck it she was here now she may as well go in and see if anyone wanted to kill her.
She shoved her keys in her pocket and made towards the door where a group of giggling 'hangarounds' stood shivering in the cold night air with the hope that one of the vamps here would fall deeply in love with them and make them immortal...or some shit like that ...who knew why these chicks did what they did. Ellie smiled as she approached the door and they stared at her with contempt "Hey!" came the squawky voice of the tallest girl... "you can't just go walking in there you know! You have to wait here with us until they let us in...." she looked Ellie up and down and turned to the other girls "not that they will want you tonight looking like that!" she bitched, falling into fits of laughter the other girls cackling along with her.
Ellie took her hand off the door and sighed as she turned around to face them again, she smiled and faked concern "oh you don't think I'm pretty enough?" she asked them trying to not laugh. They stared at her with disdain and the tall girl rolled her eyes at the others ...."hmmm" Ellie rubbed her chin thoughtfully before feigning a stroke of genius "oh!" she said in her best 'valley girl' voice "how bout now?" and flicked her fangs down smiling and batting her eyelashes.
The girls jumped back startled as the realisation hit that Ellie was not just another vamp groupie and Ellie fought the urge to vomit back her blood bottle as their demeanour changed before her very eyes. The tall girl sidled up to her "well why didn't you just SAY you were a fanger honey...you know none of us mind swinging both ways....we could have a little fun..." Ellie rolled her eyes and pushed her away as she started back towards the door raising one hand above her head in a 'see you later freaks' gesture "Go home girls!" she laughed and entered the building.

The smell of old wood and bourbon filled the air and rock music played quietly from the old jukebox.

Ellie peeked through the bar room window and saw three figures on bar stools clad in biker gear, the MC cuts on their backs proudly displaying the familiar colours she had once worn herself. She smiled and shook her head at the irony of the motto "Died to ride" a bastardization of the phrase human bikers love to throw around "Live to ride" she took a deep breath of pointless air to calm herself and pushed open the door.
"All this time and you people STILL haven't found anything better to do with your God damned lives?!" At her words, the two guys and woman spun around with a look of complete shock on their pale faces.
The woman was the first to speak "No fucking way! As I live and breathe..." she raised an eyebrow contemplating what she had just said "or don't live and breathe.....Elise you mother fucking bitch is that really you?"
Ellie held out both her hands and bowed in stage performance fashion and grinned as the woman threw her arms around her, hugging her back tightly... "Hows it going, Lizzy?....been a long time huh?" she glanced at the two guys over her friend's shoulder and nodded her head at them as they too got to their feet to greet her.
Lizzy released her and the taller guy took her place as the other man took her hand with the usual 'MC handshake' that ended with a fist bump like college stoners greeting their friends outside a liquor store. Ellie laughed and looked at them all, her body filling with all those old feelings of friendship and comradery that an MC family instils in you.
They shepherded her to a bar stool and Tiny, ironically the taller of the two guys automatically poured her a bourbon without asking if she wanted one placing it in front of her and leaning expectantly on the bar as if waiting for a tale of a hero to begin.
Lizzy looked at him and shook her head "Tiny don't stare at her like shes a retard - Ellie is obviously gonna be in shock as much as we are, I'm pretty sure she will be able to answer all your questions once she's got this down her neck..." she pushed the drink towards Ellie and she nodded gratefully and emptied the glass.
Ellie laughed as she put the glass down realising they were all staring at her "what you all waiting for here? Gullivers fucking tales?....I don't know what to tell you guys ...I went for a ride to clear my head and ended up here back in this shit hole!"
Suddenly all three of the bikers turned their stares to each other somewhat confused. Lizzy was the first to break the silence as always and turned back to Ellie "Sorry hun I'm confused....you just ended up here? ....you're not here for any particular...um reason at all?"
Ellie slid the empty glass back to tiny smiling "reason?" she laughed "should there BE a reason? what the fuck am I missing here?"
Lizzy, Tiny and Danny exchanged furtive glances and Ellie looked around them all her laugh fading now as she realised something wasn't right. She opened her mouth to demand that someone tell her what the fuck was going on when a voice from the back of the room broke the awkward silence.

"Anybody around here have a spare Sire I can borrow? I seem to have been missing mine...."

Ellies heart almost burst out of her chest and her smile returned instantly as she flopped her head back and laughed. She slowly spun around on her bar stool and allowed her eyes to meet the owner of the voice. "Lilith" she grinned getting to her feet and holding her hands out in front of her.
The tall, raven-haired, beautiful yet obviously tough girl slowly walked towards her and smiled "hey Mom..." as she stepped into Ellie's arms and hugged her "Finally decided to bring your ass back to get me? or you just back here to turn down the president spot in person?"
Ellie's smile turned to a frown and she let go of Lilith to turn to the others who were all looking at each other sheepishly "um..." Ellie began... "someone gonna tell me what the actual fuck is going on here? ...." she began to feel panic rising in her "where the fuck is Father?"
Everyone stared at Lizzy and she gave them an "I will fuck you up later!" look before taking Ellie by the shoulder and leading her to the office. "C'mon Ellie let's go somewhere private and I'll fill you in" Ellie looked at everyone wordlessly and followed her to the office.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo1-akS782w

It was almost dawn when Lizzy had finished explaining all to Ellie. She sat in the 'president' chair with her head on the desk as Lizzy spoke smoothing over the soft leather that had once been her Fathers chair. Crimson tears rolled down her cheeks and fell onto the floor as Lizzy told her the details of her Fathers 'True death', how they had been ambushed by another MC clan and how bravely he fought to protect his family. How their messenger was meant to have come to UJ City to find her and tell her but must have been intercepted by the rival MC in the hope that they would be left without a leader - and in the perfect position for a hostile takeover.....and how Ellie was the next in line for president.....

If her head wasn't fucked up before ....well it was now. Lizzy left her alone and for some time Ellie walked around the office touching her Father's belongings and thinking, eventually she re-entered the bar and nodded at the dozen or so bikers that had now gathered waiting for her.
She walked to the bar and took a bottle of bourbon from behind the counter. She silently put the bottle to her lips and drank - chugging it like water till there was nothing but drips left inside it then she turned to the onlookers and asked one question.
"So do you fuckers even WANT me as your president?" They stared at her in silence, Ellie laughed "yea thats what I thought..." she was about to pull on her jacket and leave when the group parted and Tiny made her way towards her through the pool of leather and denim. Ellie watched him unsure what was happening. Each person he passed nodded at him and raised their hand to their chest turning to Ellie - it was like some weird kind of Mexican wave for the dead. She frowned as he got closer then realised what he had in his hands - Her Father's president cut.
Ellie looked around everyone like a frightened dog - this could not be happening. What the fuck would she know about running an MC? what about her bar? her home? AMILEE? She held out her hands and backed away a little but Tiny simply ignored it and lay the cut in front of her before raising his own hand to his chest. He looked her straight in the eyes and spoke quietly "You can do this Elise.... your Father would have wanted you to try..."
Ellie swallowed and felt the tears return to her eyes and spill over, thin red rivers running over her cheeks once more as she looked round the faces of the bikers - her family .......and picked up the cut.

After many more hours of explanations, decisions and plans Ellie climbed onto her bike exhausted. She had told the MC everything....EVERYTHING and it hadn't been easy but she was surprised and grateful that her family had listened and had accepted what she had to say for the most. She was also surprised to find that she wasn't the only vamp to have found themselves in the 'human lover' situation.
There were still many things to work out and talk about but for the most Ellie was happy with what had transpired and happy to find out that her leaving had actually been the start of big changes within the MC. Her only regret was that she hadn't known this in time to reconcile with her Father before he met the light.

Her family waved to her as she rode out of the parking lot and started to disperse eager to begin packing for the big move. Ellie waved back and headed for the gate....but she wasn't going anywhere.... "Not without me you don't bitch!" came the voice from in front of her .....Ellie smiled and nodded her head once as Lilith's bike fired up and pulled out of the gate after her.

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Amilee Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:30 pm

Eventually Amilee had calmed down enough from her little rageful outburst. She wandered around the trailer a bit, anxiously awaiting Ellie's return. The sun rose and her stomach started to rumble. There wasn't anything she could eat, another look in the fridge made her cringe a bit and forced her to remember that she was living with a vampire. The word itself still shuddered through her, it made her feel like she was suddenly starring in some kind of movie. Only in the movie she'd have food in the fridge. So she decided she'd have to go venture out into the world and find something to eat. The early morning air was still a bit chilly as she exited the trailer, she walked down the street with a tad more confidence this time, the shadows that had haunted her in the night now faded to the corners of her mind like cobwebs.

She walked down the street to the nearest corner store, pulling her arms around her, tugging the pink hoodie closer as a small chilly gust of wind whispered by. She wandered the small shop, picking up a few items, she hadn't felt this hungry in a while, normally existing on just the bare minimum it took to survive had finally caught up with her. A loaf of bread, some eggs, milk, even a banana and some oranges looked appetizing enough. On her way back to the trailer, as the morning sun slowly grew larger in the sky, she started to feel a little less worried. Maybe she was crazy, maybe she had a death wish, but for some reason life had never felt more alive than it did now.

Back in the trailer, she scooted around the place searching for something she could possibly use to cook in. She had to go back to her own trailer to find any pots or pans or silverware, but once she had everything together she was singing to herself. Now Amilee wasn't the best person to have in a kitchen, she had good intentions but she also had the strange ability to practically burn water. So her efforts to scramble some eggs and fry up some bacon were not the best. In fact by the time that Ellie and Lilith were pulling up to the trailer park entrance she was putting out a small grease fire that hadn't damaged anything but the pan, however as she was opening the front door to air the place out and stared out into the sunlight she blinked a few times in confusion as she saw not just Ellie but someone else on another bike behind her.

Amilee coughed a few times and stepped back inside trying frantically to not look like such a mess. Her hair was a mess, there were egg bits on her hands and her face was flushed and sweaty. She splashed some cold water on her face and started trying to make something look presentable, the eggs were a bit runny in spots the bacon mostly burnt, but she figured maybe in the dark trailer it didn't look as bad as it was. The thudding of footsteps on the trailer steps made her heart pound with a startled jolt.

She suddenly felt like some sort of unqualified housewife, which was silly, she wasn't either of those things, but she found herself wanting to do something to make things feel less tense. "Umm....hi I was just.....making something to eat, I mean well I know you don't need to but if you...wanted some uh....." She gestured to the table and bit her lip nervously.

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Lilith Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:32 pm

Lilith rode along in silence, thinking how things were finally going right. Even if Ellie wasnt her birth mom, she was in a way, the only person who had ever given a shit about her. She'd spent most of her life a misunderstood, mistrested, angst-filled person who pent up all of their rage until it reached astronomical proportions and was then let loose on whatever victim happened to be in her way at the time. As a human this had resulted in her being passed from foster home to youth detention centers and almost nearly landed her in jail.

When Ellie came into her life, it was as if she had purpose again, and becoming a vampire just made her feel as if she was finally living, even if would have meant the opposite to anyone else. It was Ellie who gave her the name wrath and Lilith had felt lost when she had left the MC behind. No one else could quite handle Lilith, she spoke the truth too bluntly and could care less who did or didn't like it. She'd just been thinking about leaving the MC since it felt like nobody really seemed to want her around when Ellie had come back. Instantly she knew where she was heading, she didn't care if it meant starting all over, her whole life had felt like she was constantly starting over and running from one problem to the next, but somehow she felt like this time would be different.

When they entered Union Jack City she tried to take in the surroundings, the town itself seemed a bit run down and in need of help itself and Lilith couldnt help but wonder what had even made Ellie settle down here. As the trailer park came into view and they stopped in front of the largest one Lilith hopped off her bike and followed Ellie in. Immediately she coughed a bit as the smell of burnt bacon and the sight of what looked to be Amilee's failed attempt to cook a meal was scattered about the table. She laughed a little bit to herself as she looked the girl up and down. She'd been told about her, but seeing it for herself was a different story. She didn't look all that special, especially not looking like a frazzled little mouse scampering about trying to not show her fear, which could not have been more obvious than if she had been naked.

"So this is your little human huh? Sort of cute I guess. . . if you like that sort of thing." She stalked over to the fridge, opened it, tugged out a bottle of beer and sat down at the table putting her feet up on it as she opened the bottle with her teeth, spitting the cap at the floor and then looking from the food on the table and then back at the frightened girl. "Oh I can think of something I want some of. . . " She bared her teeth a little and then threw her head back and laughed. "Oh don't worry I ate breakfast already so you're safe"

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Amilee Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:33 pm

Amilee's heart sank almost instantly. She felt surges of jealousy wash away into dejected silence and then wallowed away into a swamp of confusion as Lilith seemed to walk into the trailer, reach into the fridge and sit down as if she owned the place. She noticed that Ellie was wearing something she hadn't seen her wear before, and that Lilith was wearing the same vest with the exact same markings on it.

It didn't take her long to also see that this other woman was also a vampire. She almost wanted to grab one of the bottles of blood she had seen in the fridge and offer it to her, not in a helpful way, but just to do something to prove she was more than some pathetic human. Amilee's ever impulsive mind was already lifetimes away, imagining this woman and Ellie biting each other or whatever her sheltered mind thought vampires did with each other. She imagined so many scenes in a matter of seconds that she had worked herself up into another panic. She started to pace back and forth nervously.

All the confidence and calm she had talked herself into earlier drained out of her. Who was she kidding anyway? Why would a vampire want her and not another vampire, especially one that she seemed to be in some weird biker club with? What was she even thinking here? She bit her lip so hard that she felt a drop of blood hit her tongue and she felt like she might cry. There was nothing reassuring in this instant at all. She balled up her fists and tried to muster up some courage as she stared right into Ellie's eyes. She started to mouth words, then stopped. Why did it matter anyway. She went to march right across the room, only meaning to brush past Ellie on her way out of the trailer but instead she tripped over the other chair Lilith had pulled out to prop her feet on and fell face first into the floor. With nothing else left in her to hold back she burst into tears, the words reverberating so loudly within her that even someone without psychic abilities could almost feel the pulse fear and confusion echoing through her mind.

Every story has to start somewhere Empty Re: Every story has to start somewhere

Post by Ellie Fri Feb 02, 2018 5:34 pm

Granted their arrival had not been the most announced ...maybe she should have called ahead and warned Amilee of her house guest but hey....no phone and Hell! what was she? a fucking hen-pecked husband? Amilee wants to live here, she thought, so she will just have to roll with the punches... however, as she too pulled a beer from the fridge and watched Amilee's strange nervous behaviour she wasn't prepared for the scene that was unfolding before her.

Ellie watched her scrambling about and smirked as she allowed herself to poke about in Amilee's mind. The ideas she found in there amused her greatly and rather than explaining Lilith's presence she simply watched Amilee getting more and more jealous and unnerved.
She glanced around at the state of the trailer it looked like a washed up tv chef had been on a drinking binge and tried to relive his wonder years in here. Ellie opened her mouth to speak and found no words so she put her beer bottle in it instead and watched the interactions between Lilith and Amilee with interest.
Amilee was quite obviously trying to prove her worth and failing miserably and if Ellie wasn't so amused by it, she would have almost felt sorry for her but she WAS amused - until, of course, Amilee fell to the floor and the tears began then she sighed and threw Lilith a quick frown to tell her to behave. "Amilee.." she said to the crumpled mess of emotion on the floor "meet Lilith....my Daughter..." she held out her hand mockingly towards Lilith in the style of a game show prize girl showing the lucky winner their prize and Lilith did a small fake bow from the comfort of her chair.
"There are some things we need to talk about..." she began, as she held out her hand to the fallen girl and pulling her to her feet, "important changes that can't be avoided - and you need to decide whether you can deal or not, so you better go wash your face and pull yourself together" Ellie held her hand for a moment longer than she needed to and locked eyes with her in a look created to reassure the shaking girl. "then get your ass back out here so we can talk all this shit out ok?" she let go of her hand and gestured towards the bathroom "go on off you go" she smiled as she took a seat next to Lilith who was smirking like she had just caught Chuck Norris buffing his nails or something. She turned to Lilith "and you!" she grinned half laughing "be nice!"

Daughter? The word landed softly against her ears, muffled into the sharp edges of the jealousy that had jutted out of her and Amilee instantly felt like clawing her way inside herself and disappearing to avoid the embarrassment of her outburst. She gripped her hand tightly around Ellie's as she lifted herself back to standing, her legs shaking, her other hand reaching up to wipe the last lingering tears from her damp cheeks. She tried to listen, tried to wrap her head around what was happening, but the confusion and the vagueness of Ellie's words made the panic rise up again, her eyes blinking, trying to show she understood.

"Changes? I umm.....daughter....right I....just thought well, was scared you ...." The words stammered out as if only half of what she really meant was coming out, censoring out what she knew was silly to consider, this woman had saved her life, even if she did scare the crap out of her, there was something that kept her coming right back even when she wanted to run away. She turned to walk into the bathroom, shutting the door behind her and taking a few deep breaths. She ran the water in the sink, held her hands under it, watched it for a bit, staring at the faintest flicker of a reflection in the tiny shimmering pool before lowering her head and splashing it against herself. She shivered, coughed out a few last lingering sobs and then stood back up, and glanced at herself in the mirror.

She stared right into those bright blue eyes, and mouthed the words silently to herself, moving her mouth so close to the glass that her breath left a misty circle of condensation behind. "I don't know what 'changes' are about to happen, but I'm not leaving, crazy monster, psychotic killer, mysterious woman that I can't stop dreaming about. . . I'm here to stay." And with that she wiped her hands dry on the legs of her jeans, straightened up her hair and walked back out into the kitchen. She pulled out the chair that was right across from where Ellie and Lilith sat and folded her hands in front of her, bracing herself for whatever it was that she might be about to hear and announced with as much calm formality as was possible. "Okay, I'm ready now."
